GETTING READY FOR A PERFECT AUGUST WEDDING
The day began with excitement building as Chrissy and her bridesmaids got ready together, sharing laughter, anticipation, and those quiet moments before the celebration officially began.
Chrissy looked absolutely stunning in her gown — elegant, timeless, and perfectly suited for a summer wedding. The soft details of the day, from the invitations to the florals, all worked together beautifully to create a romantic atmosphere that carried throughout the celebration.
There is something about summer weddings that feels especially magical, and Chrissy and Zach’s day captured that feeling perfectly.
AN EMOTIONAL FIRST LOOK + PRIVATE VOWS
One of the most emotional moments of the day was when Chrissy and Zach shared their first look, with both sets of parents quietly watching from the background.
A simple tap on the shoulder was all it took before both of them were instantly in tears. What followed were several heartfelt embraces as they took a moment to soak in the reality of the day finally being here.
After their first look, they shared handwritten notes and exchanged private vows with one another. The moment was sentimental, heartfelt, and even sprinkled with a bit of humor — perfectly reflecting their relationship.
By the time they finished reading their vows, there wasn’t a single doubt in the room that these two were meant to spend their lives together.
Moments like these are always some of my favorites to capture — the emotion, the joy, and the quiet in-between moments that make a wedding day so meaningful.
A BRIDAL PARTY FULL OF LOVE
Chrissy and Zach were surrounded by a wonderful group of friends and family who stood beside them on their wedding day. With the girls dressed in satin baby blue dresses & the gentlemen looking dapper in their suits, the bridal party perfectly complemented the light and romantic feel of the summer celebration.
August weddings can bring plenty of sunshine and warmth, and their entire group handled the heat like absolute troopers throughout portraits. Through it all, everyone remained incredibly kind, supportive, and excited to celebrate the couple.
It was clear how much Chrissy and Zach are loved by the people around them, and having such a supportive group by their side made the day feel even more special.
